Chile

Welcome to Chile!
Bienvenidos a Chile!

Most of Patagonia is located in Argentina, but the second country that has its share of this unique landscape region is Chile. Due to its special, elongated shape, Chile accompanies us for some time on our journey through South America. Chile is very long, around 4200km, but on average only 200km wide. How does such a narrow yet large country work? The prosperity of Chile is one of the highest in the whole of South America, and we are also curious about that. Chile’s cities certainly form a good contrast to the picturesque landscapes that we can discover here. Chile also has a comparatively homogeneous population for Latin America. We can therefore look forward to discove an independent culture in this country. Due to the narrow extension from east to west, we will also get to know many border crossings from Chile and into Chile, as we naturally want to travel the entire width of Patagonia. All of this is part of our South American adventure!

Come along, get on board and join us virtually on our journey! We have listed all our blog posts about Chile below.

About us

We are Paddy and Mimi, a travel-hungry couple from tiny Switzerland in the middle of Europe. We call ourselves slow travelers, because we like to spend enough time in one place or country. Therefore we don’t only visit the typical sights but also get to know the culture of the respective country.
