Netherlands

Welkom in nederland!
Welcome to the Netherlands!

Hand on heart, when you think of the Netherlands, doesn’t Amsterdam and marijuana automatically come to mind? But honestly this country has so much more to offer!
The open, friendly people, beautiful beaches, great cities with many canals and super fine food (who can resist a good Stroop waffle?), this country has really done it to us.

Mimi has already had various school and study projects in all parts of the country, but we are also often to be found in the Netherlands.

You can also see on the map on the right where we have been and how we got from A to B.

Have fun reading our articles about the national park in Haarlem, the greatest street market in Amsterdam and many more…

About us

We are Paddy and Mimi, a travel-hungry couple from tiny Switzerland in the middle of Europe. We call ourselves slow travelers, because we like to spend enough time in one place or country. Therefore we don’t only visit the typical sights but also get to know the culture of the respective country.
