Peru

Welcome to Peru!
Bienvenidos a Peru!

We take a closer look at the next country on our South America trip: Peru. It is certainly not the richest country in South America, but it should be a good average in terms of prosperity and diversity. A detour to the coast is just as much a part of it as an in-depth exploration of the Andes in the north-western part of South America. And of course, in Peru we follow in the footsteps of the ancient civilizations that lived in Peru for several millennia.
Last but not least, Peru also inspires with beautiful hikes through high-altitude national parks with impressive nature.

We are Paddy and Mimi, a travel-hungry couple from tiny Switzerland in the middle of Europe. We call ourselves slow travelers, because we like to spend enough time in one place or country. Therefore we don’t only visit the typical sights but also get to know the culture of the respective country.
